Information for publicists and publishers:
Please email me regarding any titles you would like to see featured on Literally Jen. I will respond the same day to let you know if I will be able to accommodate your review request.
If you are inquiring about a book that is part of a series that I have not read, please be willing to send the entire series for review.
I cannot guarantee a review for books that are sent to me without my prior consent. If the book(s) sent fit my preferred genres, I will attempt to read and write a review as my time allows. Priority will always be given to books that have been sent with my approval.
Sending a book to me does not guarantee that I will post a review. I agree to give each and every book received a fair chance. If I am not enjoying the book, I will not finish it. If I am reading an electronic copy, I can usually tell anywhere from 10-25% into the book if I will finish it. If I am reading a hard copy, I can usually tell anywhere between 50-100 pages. Should I decide not to finish the book, I will immediately send you an email to explain why. The only exception to this is if I have agreed to a blog tour which also includes a giveaway.
I am always happy to host giveaways. If you are interested in one, please be willing to ship the prize(s) directly to the winner. You may choose where you are willing to ship any prizes (US only, US/Can, or International).
I will do my absolute best to make sure that a review is posted on or around your title’s release date. This could be anywhere from a week before release date to one week after as my time allows.
At this time, I am not currently accepting self-published titles for review. If you have already submitted a title to Literally Jen, please be patient; Sara and I are working hard to fulfill all your requests.
As soon as these reviews are completed, I may choose to open up my blog to review inquiries again.
If you are interested in being featured on Literally Jen in some other way, I am happy to consider a guest post and/or a giveaway. Please note that giveaways with either a hardcover or a paperback are significantly more popular; for this reason, I can only host a giveaway if you are willing to provide a paperback or hardcover copy.
